Graduating with an architecture degree, getting married, and moving to another country all happened within a few months. Within this time, I discovered the glorious world of living foods.
Since then, I was actively on the hunt for an architecture job in Vancouver, but future plans are not always met. I spent many months of hard work writing numerous cover letters, designing a fabulous portfolio (only to be used once in an interview for an administrative assistant), and addressing envelopes to firms who didn’t even have room for an intern. Through much struggle and deliberation, I decided to stop searching for a job.
Now, after an emotional roller-coaster, I spend my time expanding my skills in graphic design and owning a small business. My interests are design, painting, hot yoga, raw vegan cuisine, world travel (here I am in Meteora, Greece!), and self awareness. I spend countless hours lost in the sea of raw food blogs, and love them all. I loved them so much, I just had to join in on the fun!
I am woman. HEAR ME ROAR!
Now I am graphic designer over at Positive-arts.com. Currently living in Vancouver, I am expanding my knowledge about raw and conscious living. I will soon be offering classes of my own in the Vancouver area, so stay tuned for an update.
I received my Living on Live Food Instructor Certification in March 2009 and will hopefully be teaching classes soon after I receive my Foodsafe Level 1 training. I also need to acquire important kitchen appliances in order to properly prepare raw and living foods, which I am saving up the funds right now. I have decided to hold off on going to the Raw Spirit Festival to save money for a proper dehydrator and high-speed blender.
If you would like to be a contributing author to Raw Living, send me an email. If you would like to support my journey please shop at my store or sign up to the many recommended programs using the links provided. Currently, I am saving up for a Blendtec and Excalibur dehydrator!
I truly appreciate your support, and would love feedback on how I am doing so far. This is all new to me, so if there is anything I can improve upon, just let me know by leaving a comment below!
I love the big raw living family and happy to join in on the conversation to spread the love!

Hello,
I can’t remember how I first found your blog, but I love the art work you are doing and have done for the Raw Divas website. I was wondering where I can find the font you use for the title of your blog, Raw Living? I just love the little leaves coming out of the letters. I don’t want to have to search site after site to find out.
It would be greatly appreicated!
Thanks,
Summer
