I noticed you haven't posted updates in the recent months. i would love to hear how your journey is coming along. I think it is a great goal. Don't you love the mind's clarity when you go on a raw food diet?!

I love to hike and this looks like a great trip. Thanks for posting how you did a raw day hike. I think posts like this help a person who is starting on their raw food journey.

It's reasonable to expect that drastic changes in one's diet can cause the body to react in ways that may not be pleasant. Perhaps easing into an entirely the new way of eating is required, so the body can adjust a bit at a time. Veggies are enemies to no one. "There's absolutely no nutrient, protein, vitamin or mineral that cannot be obtained from plant-based foods," says Michael Klaper, MD, among others. Potato chips and soda and oreos are vegan - a healthy diet they do not make.

Seems to me this person used your post to ridicule and discredit a compassionate lifestyle. If indeed he's living - no, merely surviving - off the remains of enslaved, tortured and murdered animals, it's safe to say his newfound "health" will not last.

Row, that's great you found your health! Ethically and logically speaking, I could never live off meat. Wouldn't want to nor could I justify killing animals for consumption. I do not have any other health issues other than a few blemishes (that I am probably blowing out of proportion), so no drastic steps need to be made. I am transitioning now, and little things might pop up as I find a healthy balance in my life.

When I went vegan that happened to me as well. Horrible acne breakouts that would never heal and turn into scars, lose of muscle, depression, chronic exhaustion and so many other things... they never went away even though sucked it up for 6 months.
Then I switched to a zero carb diet (where all you eat is meat) and I've gained all the muscle back, lost all my overweight, got rid of my acne and all other disorders that surfaced with my veganism.
