Green SmoothiesHappy St. Patrick’s Day! In celebration of this green holiday, I thought I would share my latest experience in the glorious days of raw living. Last week I said I was going to do a green smoothie feast for 7 days. Wellllll, that didn’t really happen. I have been drinking more green smoothies, though. The basic goal was to get more greens in my diet and the bad stuff will just go away. I am staying away from chocolate which is a HUGE step forward!

Aren’t these green smoothies beautiful? The most amazing thing is that they are sooo healthy, too. I cannot say enough about how amazing green smoothies are.

The recipe is soooo simple, all I did was blend:

  1. One banana
  2. 2 cups frozen mango pieces
  3. Huge bunch of parsley (stems removed)
  4. 1 cup of water (depends on how liquidy you like your smoothies)
  5. Enjoy!!!

Tomorrow I will post a video making my favorite green smoothie, so check back tomorrow!

    I love the picture! and I have been doing one smoothie very similar:

    1. one banana
    2. 2 mangoes
    3. 1 cup fresh orange juice
    4. huge bunch of spinach
    5. water if you want it more liquid

    Blend all and ENJOY :)
