Due to upload timing, this Window Wednesday is now on Thursday, but only by minutes. ;)

I would like to share with you how I get my daily dose of GREENS! Green leafy vegetables are an important element to raw living. I highly recommend Victoria Boutanko’s Green for Life book on this subject.

So, greens are very, very important! Now you might be asking how in the world do I eat so many greens without feeling like a rabbit? Well, this is the cool part. Green smoothies and juices are my life-force. I am going to be feasting on green smoothies for 7 days starting Saturday. Next week’s Window Wednesday will be all about green smoothies, but I have to show off my new juicer now. Check out my newest video on the Healthy Juicer and my Kale Kick juice!

Hi, that was a really good video, thanks for posting it. I came to your site from the Green Smoothie Queen. I just wanted to make mention that if you puit your pulp back through a second time, you can get a bit more juice from it. Happy Juicing, Cookie

Great video!!! I had to remind myself to come back and watch it after I remembered you mentioning it on twitter. I think I might be getting this juicer just because it will be so great for summer travel! Right now I have my mom’s Champion but will have to give it back soon — but I’m not even using it much anymore because I use my blender so much (OK so I have a Blendtec … one good thing working overtime last summer was for) — but while I travel with my Blendtec A LOT — sometimes it would be nice to have something I didn’t have to plug in and still get some juice. I’m going to try to decide soon because we have a trip where we’ll be staying in dorm rooms coming up at the end of May and while we’ll have electricity in the rooms I’m still a little worried about noise and such. I’m assuming since it’s manual that this juicer is quiet. ??

You do so great on your videos. I’m going to show them to my older daughter (11) to inspire her and hopefully have her work on some videos with me this summer (spring is SO busy w/ her extra school projects)!

Thank you soooo much Tami for the feedback. The juicer is quiet, except when you are juicing harder produce like carrots. It is comparable to a blender’s loudness when you are juicing carrots, but other than that it is really quiet. Can’t wait to see what you and your daughter come up with!
