Check out my latest creation, a green smoothie video. I share one of my favorite green smoothies and how to make it, as well as give some tips about green smoothies in general.

Now, don’t make fun of my blender. It may be small, but it generally does the trick. There are a bunch of raw recipes I can’t make because of my little blender, but overall it works fine. I have to chew my smoothies, as they are not very “smooth” but that’s OK. I’m on a budget, and until I can afford a fancy high-powered blender, my little red one will do ;)

So, I challenge YOU to drinking at least one green smoothie everyday for 3 days… 5 days… or a whole week! My new goal is to have a green smoothie/juice everyday for breakfast.

    Congrats on sticking with your Challenge, Amanda! Glad you mentioned rotating your greens and using ripe bananas. Soooooo very important!

    I start every day off with a quart of fresh green juice and will typically have a quart of green smoothie in the late afternoon. The more of these life-giving nutrients you take into your body, the more changes you’ll notice.

    I was *amazed* at how tidy you were in handling that hand-blender… I kept waiting for massive splashage, which certainly would have occurred if I’d been doing it. *grin*
